Centennial Flame of Parliament Hill

Despite the unusually cold weather in March, I took the opportunity to take some pictures in Ottawa during a short trip.

I couldn't help notice the presence of several patrol cars following the unfortunate shooting inside Parliament Hill.

The Centennial flame at Parliament Hill was lit in 1967 to commemorate 100 years of confederation in Canada.

Pictured here is the Quebec coat of arms.
