The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre continued its 2016 North American tour with a performance in Toronto on Friday, March 4, 2016.

The illustrious dance company returned to Toronto after a two year absence.

 Friday night's performance featured Toccata, Love Songs, Exodus and Open Door.

Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40 performed at Powerade Centre, Brampton for the first time ever in Toronto as part of the 'Todo Tiene Su Hora' tour.

The Dominican artist has sold over 30 million records worldwide and has won 18 Latin Grammy Awards, 2 Grammy Awards and 2 Latin American Billboard Music Awards.

Juan Luis Guerra has produced numerous bachata and merengue influenced songs including Bachata en Fukuoka, Me Enamore, La Llave De Mi Corazon, Mi Bendicion, El Niaga En Bicicleta, Palomita Blanca, Burbujas De Amor,  Como Yo and Ojala Que Llueva Cafe.

Toronto indie band Paint performed at the Horseshoe Tavern on Jan. 28, 2016 and celebrated the birthday of lead singer Robb Johannes.

The live set included fan favourite songs Shattered Hearts, When She's Gone, Boomerang and a tribute to David Bowie.

In 2015, Paint released a short feature film titled 11:11 and an accompanying soundtrack EP Based On Truth And Lies.

Sixto Rodriguez performed his second sold out show at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto on December 19, 2015.

Originally hailing from Detroit, Michigan, the American singer-songwriter is best known for his influence in South Africa.

Following rumors of his death, Rodriguez resurfaced in the 1990s, and the resurgence of his career led to the Oscar-winning 2012 documentary, Searching for Sugar Man.
